Privacy Overview

This page summarizes how CaseProof handles personal and case data. For the full legal document, see the Privacy Policy.
What We Collect
- Account information: Name, email address, firm or workspace name, and account role.
- Subscription information: For paid accounts, billing identifiers and invoice status provided to us by Stripe.
- Matter data: Files, documents, chronologies, and notes you upload or create within the platform.
- Technical metadata: Request logs, IP address, browser type, timestamps, and error logs used to operate and secure the service.
What We Do Not Do
- We do not sell data to third parties.
- We do not use customer matter data to train AI models.
- We do not share case data with any party except as required to deliver the service or comply with law.
AI Processing
CaseProof uses OpenAI GPT-4o (via API) to generate chronologies and gap analyses from document text. OpenAI does not use API data for model training by default under its current API policies. See the AI Data Handling page for full details.
Data Location
Primary application data is stored in the United States (AWS us-east-1 via Supabase). Some subprocessors may process limited service data as described in our Trust Center materials and DPA documentation.
Cookies
We use essential authentication and session cookies only. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics cookies on the app.
Data Subject Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time. To submit a request, email info@thewaldrepcompany.com. Requests are handled within applicable legal timelines, typically within 30 days. See also the DPA & GDPR page.
