Privacy Overview

This page summarizes how CaseProof handles personal and case data. For the full legal document, see the Privacy Policy.

What We Collect

  • Account information: Name, email address, and billing details provided at signup.
  • Matter data: Files, documents, chronologies, and notes you upload or create within the platform.
  • Usage metadata: Log data, browser type, IP address, and feature interactions used to improve the service.

What We Do Not Do

  • We do not sell data to third parties.
  • We do not use customer matter data to train AI models.
  • We do not share case data with any party except as required to deliver the service or comply with law.

AI Processing

CaseProof uses OpenAI GPT-4o (via API) to generate chronologies and gap analyses from document text. OpenAI does not use API data for model training by default under their enterprise API terms. See the AI Data Handling page for full details.

Data Location

All data is stored in the United States (AWS us-east-1 via Supabase). We do not transfer data internationally.

Cookies

We use session cookies only to maintain your authenticated session. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies.

Data Subject Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time. To submit a request, email support@case-proof.com. Requests are processed within 30 days. See also the DPA & GDPR page.
